The new Ariel Atom 3.5R at Goodwood

Last week we had another crazy shoot for one of our favourite clients, the Goodwood Road and Racing club. In one day we got to film at the world famous Goodwood race circuit, the Goodwood hill climb and if that wasn’t enough, at a disused airfield. We had the usual array of on-car cameras, cranes and fun toys to play with but had to do everything at twice the speed as the client challenged us to make two (possibly even three) videos in one day! The first of which is first web video on the new Ariel Atom 3.5 R.

More of a grown up go-cart than a traditional super car, this phenomenally fast piece of engineering will do 0 – 62 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds. That’s ridiculously quick and it made for some great television – even if it does sound a bit like a mosquito!

The video is now live on the new and improved GRRC website. Take a look.
