Reprising our role from last year, we were at the Goodwood festival of speed this year providing onsite postproduction for our friends at INP media for their client, a major German car manufacturer.
Two crews were supplying footage constantly for four days and our job was to sift through 30 hours of footage plus clips from onboard cameras and cut two videos that summed up the event. This was all produced on site and because of the volume of material and the speed of which it needed to be turned around we used Avid Media Composer 6. Using the software’s AMA functionality meant we didn’t have to import the media, just transfer it which saved a huge amount of time when dealing with 22 32 Gigabyte SxS cards.Two videos were cut, one was uploaded on Friday evening and one on Sunday evening.
