For the last four years, we’ve proudly worked with Chris at Trigger Concepts on the Annual TeenTech awards. TeenTech is a fantastic organisation run by the legendary TV presenter and journalist Maggie Philbin that encourages school children to work in STEM (Science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects.
Maggie’s fantastic connections and the reputation of the awards means students get access to hugely influential figures in industry and also in entertainment.
Every year the awards ceremony is held in London where students get to show off their projects and hear from and meet representatives from industry and entertainment. Sadly due to lockdown the ceremony couldn’t happen in the same way so working with Trigger and the TeenTech team we helped produce their first virtual awards.
As with our previous virtual awards, the challenge was as much a logistical one as a technical and creative one. We had 81 project videos and 50 well wisher videos that all needed to be processed and formatted for the 15 categories.
The ceremony was premiered on Youtube and then the after party was streamed live.
